- A: AnswerThe A7III has a 24mp sensor with 693 autofocus points. The A7RIII has a 42 mp sensor with 425 autofocus points. The A7III may perform slightly better in low light at higher ISOs than the A7RIII. The A7RIII has pixel-shift multi-shoot mode for added sharpness and detail when shooting still objects, etc. If you need the ultimate in resolution and plan to create very large photos, the A7RIII has the pixels to do so. If you aren't interested in the ultra-high image size but want a very versatile camera, the A7III is amazing.

- A: AnswerI work at Best Buy & pre-ordered the camera myself. I personally have the A7ii, and wanted to upgrade to the A7riii. I know that usually when you pre order items you get it that day of release. But for my camera I didn't and was told that when Best Buy gets the camera in stock they will fulfill my preorder. But that could take months :(. So I just decided to get the A7rii for now & upgrade to the A7riii later on next year. I just couldn't be cameraless for too long. If you are in the same position I would call theBridge and ask them what your preorder is looking like right now.

- A: AnswerYou can only shoot in uncompressed or compressed RAW. And record small medium and large JPEG‘s. You’re raw files are 42 megapixels. Make sure you have lots of hard drive space and a fast computer

Amazing quality!
Absolutely love! My clients have never complained about a single picture. Any shot I need my camera is capable of! The battery life is incredible! I can shoot for over 4 hours and still have plently of battery! I've had it for 8 months and i still love it as much as the day i got it!

BEST MIRRORLESS UNDER 3000 DOLLARS
Best camera under $3k BARNONE. I photograph motorcycles and this camera has everything I need and nothing I don’t need. What isn’t there to like about this camera? It has 42megapixels, it does 10fps burst, it has tracking AF, more than enough AF points, it has a long lasting battery. I couldn’t be anymore happy with it. This camera will be my main body for a long time and then a backup when I upgrade.

This camera still doing its thing in 2024
For photography the A7r3 is still going strong. I use this thing for real estate, branding, headshots, product stuff and more and i still cant find a reason to upgrade it. If you want to save yourself 1k and are not worried about 61 mega pixels this camera will do the job for just about every use case. Video is good as well. I do lots of run and gun video wotk with it and its fine. The 8bit is only kind of buzzkill here but it still churns great looking video.
