Nokia Bluetooth Headset for $16, and a $15 Visa Prepaid Card is available by mail-in rebate.
The reviews are not that great though.
two refurbished Netgear WNHDE111-100NAR 5GHz Wireless-N Access Point/Bridge for $50.
Note these are refurbished (not new) units, and include only a 3 month warranty.
However it's still a great deal worth mentioning since each new one costs about $54, and they have very good reviews as a pair of access points (for spreading wifi throughout a home or office) and as bridges (for networking rooms without running wires throughout the home or office).
We are happy to report the previews of Windows 7 are pretty good, and seems to be the stable, solid operating system of Windows XP without its disk threashing issues, and without the stability issues that plagued Vista.
It is also nice to see Microsoft coming out with a good product that focuses on functionality rather than copying someone else's ideas, especially after such a mess with Vista which was a failed attempt to copy the Mac OS, a redesign of Microsoft Office which seemed to confuse most people, and the recent launch of Bing Travel which is just a ripoff of Kayak.com.

Taxes Due Today:
A reminder that federal and state taxes are due for many people in the US today, by 11:59pm local time. IRS.gov has some very useful information including a list of certified E-File providers, such as:
If your income was $56,000 or less in 2007, you qualify to file your federal tax return electronically for free directly using any of the IRS's Free File Alliance companies.
Most of those services can also e-file your state return for a fee.
If your income in 2007 was $30,000 or less, or if you were an active military member with an income $56,000 or less, Intuit offers free federal & state e-file.
Turbotax Online free Federal Tax Filing for everyone, but they charge $26 to $35 to file a state return.
If your tax return is straightforward, their 1040EZ service works great online and well worth the fee if applicable to you.
If you own a home or have donated goods or business expenses to deduct, their Deluxe online service for $50 plus $35 for state is a good choice.
Many US Post Office has extended hours today to collect paper returns, some as late as 11:59pm.
Filing online gives a quicker refund, typically within 1-3 weeks if the return has no errors, as opposed to regular paper returns which can take 4-8 weeks to process.
If you need more time to file your return(s), you must file an extension by today, however owed taxes are still due today regardless if you file an extension.
If you owe taxes and cannot afford to pay today, try calling the IRS to set up a payment plan.
The IRS is reportedly being a little more lenient about paying taxes on time this year, however you must set up a payment plan by contacting the IRS by today.
If you do not pay owed taxes on time, they will not be lenient.
Tax software, e-file services, and tax preparation expenses in 2008 can be written-off for today's taxes.
Filing a state return is required for every state you lived during 2008, except for: AK, FL, NV, SD, TN, TX, WY.
For someone who was actively searching for a job during the 2008 year within the same line of work as their previous job, some expenses directly related to finding a job may be eligible for tax free write-offs.
Examples of expenses during 2008:
Cost to make phone calls to potential employers (not your whole phone bill, but if some kind of long distance or service fees apply for the calls to potential employers, the IRS may accept those fees as acceptable write-offs)
Travel expenses to get you to and from an interview, if the trip is primarilly to look for a new job.
Paying someone to help you create a résumé, or buying résumé creation software
Photocopying your résumé
Mailing your résumé (postage stamps, envelopes, stationary)
Career counseling
These can only apply for someone seeking a new job within the same line of work as their previous one, and are not just for the unemployed.
Someone who had a job in 2008 and was looking for a new one within the same line of work can write off job-hunting expenses that exceed 2% of their income (for example, an employee making $30,000 per year can write off job-hunting expenses that exceed $600 during 2008).
Someone looking for their first job cannot write off job hunting expenses.
Some information on these deductions can be read here.
