| Details: | Pair of Bookshelf Speakers With Bluetooth for $50 Amazon is selling their own pair of bookshelf stereo speakers for $50. Black front and top, with brown wood siding. This set are powered speakers that plug into a power outlet and work without requiring an A/V Receiver. Includes a remote for volume and sound level control, and links with wireless Bluetooth devices like phones, tablets, and laptops within 33 feet. According to the product manual, it also has an S/PDIF Optical input and a 3.5mm audio input. Update (3pm EDT): Price has gone up a few pennies, to $50.34 at this time. When looking at sound power, speakers often mislead the true output. These say "80 watt" but that is likely the total possible output of both speakers combined. These are probably 40 watt speakers each, which is still an amazing value at $50 for a pair. A similar pair would normally sell for at least $100. |
