For an internal desktop hard drive deal, Newegg posted a Seagate Hybrid 4TB Hard Drive with 8GB Caching SSD for $160 (usually goes for at least $170). It has 64MB of cache (most hard drives have 16 to 32 MB), and 8GB of SSD storage which it uses to cache frequently accessed data. This should be one of the best performing large-capacity consumer-grade hard drives on the market. |
