This weekend marks the 100th anniversary of the National Parks Service. Entrance fees are waived for all National Parks this weekend (through Sunday). Parks on the list include:
  • Acadia National Park in Maine
  • Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexico
  • Grand Canyon in in Arizona
  • Olympic National Park in Washington
  • Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado
  • Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming.
  • Yosemite National Park in California
  • Zion National Park in Utah
Expect huge crowds, especially at the popular parks. Other fees, such as camping permits, may incur a fee.
