This one hold 5 quarts, which can cook soup/stew for 4 people or potatoes for 3 people. A pressure cooker can make great tasting soup, potatoes, beans, brown rice, gravy, and hard boiled eggs in half of normal time. Rather than just using heat, the Instant Pot uses pressure to cook through your food. We have the Instant Pot IP-DUO60 (a 6qt version), and love it. We call it our "kitchen robot". Soup has never tasted better. Sweet potatoes and brown rice taste amazing after just 20-30 minutes, and are never sticky or under-cooked despite taking half the time if cooked on the stove or oven. |
