Anyone looking to upgrade to the new Intel CPU into a tower PC might want to consider using an upgraded CPU fan, rather than the Intel fan that comes with the CPU. We have two of the Enermax T40F-RF CPU fans, and like how they keep the CPU cool and the fan does not touch the RAM modules that install so close to the CPU. Here is an Enermax install video (shows how to install 2 fans at once, but only 1 is needed). A third-party CPU fan like this will use a bracket on both sides of the motherboard to keep it firmly in place even when the PC is bumped. |
