We rarely post deals for credit cards. Some deals are nice, for some people, but need to be chosen wisely since each credit card application will impact your credit.

However, if you fly Southwest Airlines, this is a hot deal worth mentioning. You can get up to 6 round-trip flights, which is a hot deal! Here's how.
  1. Sign up for a Visa Card through Southwest.com and pay a $69 annual fee.
  2. During signup, link your Southwest Rewards number to the card.
  3. When the card arrives in the mail, spend at least $1,000 within the first 3 months.
  4. Southwest will credit 40,000 points to your rewards account.
  5. If you manage to spend at least $12,000 on the card within your first year, they will give you an additional 20,000 points (60,000 points total).
40,000 points can be worth up to 6 round-trip tickets, depending on the price of the airfare. For example round-trip flights between these cities:
  • Oakland, CA and Long Beach, CA costs around 6,500 points, so 40,000 points would give 6 round-trip flights between those cities.
