| Details: | Logitech Illuminated Keyboard for $48 (repost) Logitech K740 Wired (USB) Illuminated Keyboard for PC is on sale for $48. Normally sells for $60 and $60 and up, and has over 2,000 positive reviews combined on Amazon and Newegg. This is our favorite keyboard for someone who spends their day typing. Its keypress depth is shallower than a traditional keyboard, similar to the keyboard that comes with most laptop computers and Mac desktops. While gamers will prefer other, more "mushy" style keypresses, this Logitech feels more comfortable for typing than most other keyboards we have used. The letters on the keyboard can illuminate with an on/off button. However the F keys (function keys) do not illuminate, making them very difficult to see in the dark. In my opinion though, I never risk eyestrain by using a computer in the dark, but like the cool look of the keyboard at night. Staples is also selling a 2-pack of Rayovac Flashlights for $3.50. Includes 2 D batteries per flashlight (4 batteries). Four D batteries alone for $3.50 is 88¢ per battery, a great deal since 6 Rayovac batteries normally go for $7, which is $1.17 per battery without getting 2 flashlights. |
