Normally sells for about $270. Be sure your Canon SLR camera works with EF-S lenses. Such lenses will not work on older cameras. We use this lens with a Canon T6i SLR camera. It is perfect when taking photos of buildings, structures, statues, or bedrooms where we want to capture a wide area in the picture. Also works great when trying to capture people plus the whole surrounding area, such as musicians on stage or a crowd at a baseball game, where capturing more of the surrounding area helps tell a more complete story in the photo.
