If you’re a member and have not yet placed the order, please head to the Account Details section of your Costco.com account. Once there, go ahead and enter your membership number (it should be 12 digits long and start with either a 1, 3, or 8), and store it for future purchases. The 5% surcharge will be removed if you take these steps prior to completing your order.

If you are a member and have already placed the order, simply Contact Us with your membership number and order number. Once we have confirmed this information, we can process the credit for the surcharge immediately.

If you are not a member, you will be charged a 5% surcharge over posted prices for members (except for prescription drugs). This is because our ability to offer low prices on brand-name items is due in large part to our membership program, which is designed to reward members for their loyalty.

Of course, we absolutely encourage you to join—there are plenty of benefits to follow should you choose to do so. You even have the opportunity to add a membership to your cart prior to checkout, at which point the 5% surcharge will be removed.
