Works as intended. No issues.
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought a couple of these on sale on BestBuy.com. Transaction and pickup went fine. They work fine, protecting electronics from surges. The plugs are nicely spaced apart to accommodate adapters. Good product. Fair price.

Nice product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like this product due to the fact that it's nice in size and how you can have more than 1 plug in it without deciding, "which 1 do I take out and which 1 can I keep plugged up" ? It also has the grey plastic on top of each outlet. These plastic grey slots, slide. That's a nice safety feature. Now I did get a huge kick out of the shipment that came in the mail. When I received this surge protector, it came in a HUGE BOX and I do mean HUGE. I thought someone sent me a whole video game system or something was incorrectly sent. When I opened the box, OH...it's just the surge protector in a huge wide box. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Surprised ...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought two of these on sale and they are actually quite nice. Very compact and sleek looking, fitting the decor of most rooms. Performance specs are great but hoping I never need them. The plug spacing is perfect for my needs in a home office. When not using a plug, a nice dust cover is in place to protect and increase the cosmetic appearance. Overall very nice!

A good basic surge protector
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the 8 outlets with 4 being for larger plugs. I has a higher surge protection than most others in the same price range.

Dynes - Surge Protector Strip
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a surge protector strip that would enable wider plugins to fit as I am using it for a Roku, Apple TV and.other items. Great Value
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great surge protector for the price. Wasn’t sure if the plug was flat or not. I needed a flat plug-in and this worked out great. I plan on purchasing a few more.

Q: QuestionIs there an on off switch? Is there an on-off switch? When switch is off, does it consume energy?

Q: QuestionIf I were to buy two of them, will I be able to plug them on top of each other?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer That is not advised. They have amperage and wattage ratings that shouldn't be exceeded. Doing this would cause a fire risk and could also trip the breaker for your wall outlet.

Q: QuestionWhy is there no connected equipment warranty? Why does this surge protector not come with a connected equipment limited warranty value like other similar products?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer I"d have to make a guess but I'd say it's not provided to keep the cost down. This is Dynex and sold by Best Buy. They usually sell extra coverage for most of their devices. The unit also only comes with a 90-day warranty. It is made in China, BTW. I've only known of one person that tried to use connected-equipment coverage and he was successful. I suspect that very few people use this provided service as most home-owners insurance will cover equipment lost to electrical surges (read your insurance policy to be certain!).
